Pride in the Pour

Being the youngest of eight children, I learned quickly the art of negotiating and creativity in order to be heard over the top seven.  Teamwork was part of our daily lives as a closely knit family.  Attending college was a big deal for us which is where I got my first taste of working in the hospitality industry.  Customer service was second nature to me and once I landed my first bartending “gig”, I was hooked. 

Preparing each cocktail with care and style while creating an exceptional experience has blessed me with many friendships and devoted patrons along the way. 

You could say I found my “mission field”.

I’ve spent as much time in creating the experience as I have crafting the cocktail, with this next chapter, I know that bringing this balance into events is “that something extra” that will make your gathering a unique and memorable experience.

Growing up in a large military family, the planning of events and celebrating special occasions came naturally. During my college years, I worked in the hospitality industry and came to enjoy it very much. My passion for this career path was a natural evolution from those early years. Beginning as a dining room server at a supper club and expanding into party planning and bartending was a natural flow. Wearing multiple hats over the years in the same club enabled me to create friendships with many customers. 

Whether it was a family dinner celebration or a business event, it was always a pleasure to assist in the success of their occasion. Thus now moving into a new chapter, so to speak, BowTie Bartenders is an extension of the years of service and experience in creating happy events.
